MK Seven Assault Rifle
The MK-Seven Assault Rifle will quickly become your favorite weapon in the game.
Chapter 3 Season 1 of Fortnite brings you the MK-Seven Assault Rifle with – for the first time on an assault rifle – a functional Reflex sight. This bad boy shows a red dot sight where you’re aiming instead of just zooming in like in the past. It feels way more stead while firing than any other guns in the past as well.
We’ll give it a “Pretty Great” for rate of fire, a “Good” for damage dealt, an “Awesome” for steadiness and aiming (IF using the Reflex sight – If you decide to Spray and Pray, you’re on your own), and a “Mehh – about what you’d expect” for reloading (actual results found below).
While it doesn’t pack as big of a punch as the Ranger Assault Rifle, there’s no way you can jump into the game too many times without finding this to be your weapon of choice.
The main difference you’ll find as you move up through the weapon upgrades is reload time and damage per second (DPS). Moving from Common to Legendary, you’ll get nearly a 20% decrease in the time it takes to reload, and you’ll see a 20% increase in your DPS. With all of the MK-7 Assault Rifles, you’ll find a 35 round magazine which uses Medium Ammo, the first-person shooter style Reflex Sight when you zoom in, and the stats below will help fill in the rest:
Common

Headshot Damage = 30

Rumor has it there’s a Mythic version to be found. Head on over to the Sanctuary and take out The Foundation. This mysterious piece of hardware will include an even faster reload time, damage, and Fire Rate.
We’re here to warn you, though, The Foundation isn’t someone to take on lightly.
Is the Mythic version worth it? Absolutely.
Are you also incredibly likely to die trying? Absolutely.
Hunt at your own risk!
